ANAC honors long-time member Anne Hughes
Anne Hughes, ACRN, PhD, FAAN, passed away March 26. She embodied the ANAC sprit of caring, compassion and action and was one of ANAC's early members, serving on the board of directors to help shape ANAC into what it is today. Anne was elected president of the ANAC board of directors, co-authored the HIV Core Curriculum, helped to establish the ANAC palliative care committee and was a trailblazer and thought leader on quality of life and palliative care that extended beyond HIV. Her legacy is part of ANAC and we are grateful for that. Condolences and memories can be shared on her CaringBridge page.
