BRIDGE TO BEACH 5K RUN

The beautiful ocean and white sand beach at Smith Point County Park offers a scenic backdrop for the 5K Run for Literacy. We are pleased to announce this year’s race is taking place in-person, and virtually, on September 11, 2021. For more information and to register, visit our registration page.

Community Outreach Health Bus
Thursday, September 9, 10:00am-2:00pm

The Catholic Health Services Community Outreach Bus will be in the library’s parking lot, offering free blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and glucose screenings; along with patient preventative health education and referrals as needed. These free health screenings will be administered by a Catholic Health registered nurse. This is a free service that does not require insurance. Open to all 18 years and older. No appointments necessary.
