DESCRIPTION
With the ever-changing learning environment, young children and their families are feeling mentally fatigued from the amount of time spent on screens. What impact has increasing screen time had on our children's development? How can you help to assure that screen time is benefiting children? And more importantly, how can we begin the process of transitioning away from online spaces into meaningful physical spaces? Join Common Sense Media to discuss ways families can measure online engagement and begin the process of balancing children’s academic lives.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Providers working in Alameda County who serve families with young children 0-5 years of age. Providers, parents, and caregivers of young children 0-5 and their families who have experienced the stresses of the pandemic on multiple levels, including the stress of supporting the healthy growth and development of the children in their care.

A link to the online training will be provided to registered attendees closer to the event date.
