Greetings Families,

We hope everyone is safe and warm on this snowy day! Although we would have loved to see our students' smiling faces at school, we are happy to see that many were enjoying some time playing in the snow like Carter and Kaelyn.

As IB learners and educators, we are balanced. We work hard and play hard at Aquila! Over the past two days our teachers have been meeting virtually to reflect on student learning and plan upcoming lessons in our IB units of inquiry. We are ready to engage in some creative and critical thinking!

We will see you soon!

Cold lunch options are back starting in March!

The SLP School Nutrition Department has some great news to share! Starting in March, students can enjoy cold options at school. Students will be able to choose between hot lunch, cold lunch, or vegetarian options.

Students can look forward to cold lunch options like egg salad sandwich, turkey & cheese sandwich, crispy chicken wrap, roast beef with provolone cheese on croissant, and chicken caesar wrap. Each month we’ll have different options based on what the students like. Make sure your student tells their school nutrition staff their favorite lunches!
