Dr. Diamond received his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency in neurology from Brigham and Women’s Hospital/ Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in neurology and neuro-oncology. Dr. Diamond is a neuro-oncologist in the Department of Neurology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He works together with neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists to provide the highest quality medical treatment and supportive care for patients with gliomas and glioblastomas, primary central nervous system lymphomas (brain and spinal cord), ependymomas, and other types of brain tumors. With his colleagues in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Counseling Center, he performs clinical research about quality of life, symptom management, and patient-physician communication for patients with brain tumors. He also participates in an interdisciplinary effort at Memorial Sloan Kettering to treat and study patients with histiocytic disorders such as Erdheim-Chester disease and Langerhans cell histiocytosis and is involved in several clinical trials to develop new treatments for cancer.
