Abel’s emotional reactions are positive. He smiles and looks for contact with adults and pronounces sudden sound combinations and simple words. Abel independently initiates contact with adults and children. In addition, he smiles and remains calm in the children’s group and reacts positively to musical games. Abel feeds himself with a bottle, refusing a cup, and an adult feeds him solids with a spoon. His sleep is calm, and he continues to wear diapers. Could you be Abel's loving family?

Host-to-Adopt
This summer, CCAI is partnering with Project 143, an orphan hosting organization. CCAI will be the adoption facilitator.

Together, we seek adoption-minded host families to host tweens and teens from Colombia. Often, this may be the last chance for a child to find a family before they age out of the Colombian foster care system.

Twelve-year-old Shan Shan was painfully shy and insecure when we first met her at the Yingtan Orphanage in Jiangxi Province. Every day, her friends went to school while she stayed behind due to her paralysis. When CCAI’s Charity Team asked for her wish, she simply said, “I want to be a student!”
