With warmer weather just around the corner, BMS is gearing up for a busy March. Thank you for having your child at school and prepared each day for learning. Third-quarter benchmarks are on March 2 and 3. I am proud of the hard work teachers and students are doing in preparation for these assessments. Spring Pictures will be taken on March 7. Students may wear a modified dress code. Please see the flyer for additional suggestions and guidelines.

We hope you will be able to participate in our 3rd annual Connections Family Involvement Night on March 14. This event is an excellent way to support our community and show students the many wonderful career options right at their fingertips. 

I hope each of you enjoy our March break (March 9- 13) and return to school ready to finish out the year strong.

2023 Career Fair Information

Join us on March 17 (8:00 - 10:00 a.m.) for Buford Middle School’s annual Career Fair. The purpose of this event is to offer businesses and other organizations the opportunity to share information one-on-one with 8th grade BMS students who may be interested in pursuing future career goals with your organization or field.

We hope you can be part of this event. Space is limited, so please respond early to reserve a table at the Fair. Complete and submit this form no later than Friday, March 3rd. Thank you for your partnership with BMS.

High School Bound Yard Signs

Hey parents!

With the end of the school year quickly approaching, the PTO would like to give you a fun way to celebrate your 8th grader. We will take orders for "High School Bound" signs through Friday, March 17th. We will have the signs available for pickup the week after Spring Break (the week of April 10). We will disburse the signs with a "drive-thru" setup and will have multiple days and times available.
