Music students spread holiday cheer
Music students marked the holiday season with special concerts showcasing their talent and love for music education.

“Holiday performances are magical,” said Laila Giampietro, teacher. “There are so many songs that the audience already knows. They hear the first note on the piano and they’re already thrilled.”

Another successful season for girls' tennis
This fall, high school girls’ tennis teams completed another successful season. Jurupa Valley finished as league champions, while Patriot and Rubidoux finished third in their respective leagues.

“I love tennis because it brings the competitive [side] out of me,” shared Erika Guardamondo, Rubidoux athlete.
Back in the Limelight
In-person theatre returns
This November, theatre departments at Jurupa Valley and Patriot High School produced plays for a live audience. Patriot performed Radium Girls from November 4th-6th, while Jurupa Valley put on Animal Farm from November 16th-19th.

“It feels great to be performing in person again,” shared Jenna Gage, Patriot actor. “Performing online felt very isolating.”​
One Step Closer
Seniors apply to colleges and universities
High school seniors planning to attend a college or university participated in an important process this semester, one that many had been working toward for years: college applications.

“For me, high school has really been about building a strong work ethic and foundation for skills you might need in college,” shared Matthew Torre, Patriot senior.
