11 October 2021 | Chartiers Valley Primary School

Dear Primary School Families,

This past Friday, our students participated in the Colt Bolt. The event was a great success! Approximately 800 of our students and staff went over to the CVHS Stadium to exercise and support a healthy lifestyle. (see pictures below) A huge "Thank You!" goes out to the PTG, the Colt Bolt co-chairs Mrs. Callender & Mrs. Durisko, the emcees of the event Ms. Estatico, Mr. Vaughan & Mrs. Connolly, and all of the families who helped support this fun event for our students. Thanks to everyone's generosity, the PTG raised over $22,000 which will support field trips, classroom parties, and Fun Day for our students this year. Way to go, Colts!

We have another bit of exciting news to share from our PTG. We have already reached 70% of our sales goal for the Book Fair! To celebrate this exciting news, every student will receive 2 Book Bucks, which can be redeemed for prizes at a later date. Thank you for your help and support as we strive towards our school-wide goal of selling 700 books.

Save the date! The Primary School will be holding our Halloween Parade and Class Parties on Monday, October 25. PTG members should contact their homeroom parents or email psptg@cvsd.net if they are interested in volunteering.
