Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess,
for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider
how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds . . .

Dear Prince Families:
After school hours were busy last week with honor society inductions for our top middle and high school students on Monday night and a full slate of athletics up through yesterday afternoon. Wednesday through Friday of this week, our high school students and faculty will be off campus on their spiritual retreat to the Woodlands Camp in Cleveland, Georgia.
Our weekly COVID-19 case count continues to drop consistent with the familiar pattern demonstrated over the past four quarters of school (spikes after breaks like summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etcetera, and then a decline). For the past five weeks, our average positive count has continued to drop: 17, 15, 11, 11, and tomorrow we start the week with 9 students quarantined at home. We identified a “pocket” of positive cases in one second grade class, and they have been placed in virtual instruction until this Thursday. Thank you for keeping your children home if you see them displaying ANY symptoms of illness so we can continue to operate the school in a less restrictive but still safe environment.
Last week we hosted the “Oconee County State of the Schools” on our campus with the senior leadership of all public and private schools in attendance. You would have been proud witnessing how Coleman Ficken (5th), Bella Rosenthal (8th), and Landys McClellan (12th) represented Prince with their speeches about their experience as Wolverines. Great job, students!
