Can you Help?
If you are able, we’re looking for sponsors of backpacks for foster kids. Each backpack contains personal hygiene/care products, and comfort items e.g. stuffed animal, fidget toy, coloring book, crayons, Maria’s Bookstore gift card. Cost: about $45-50 per backpack. We’ve delivered 40 backpacks so far to two local foster care agencies. To donate, put Mission: Support Kids on the memo line of a check made out to UUFD.
Share the Plate
We’re nearing the end of our nine-month plan (Jan.-Sept.) of giving our collections for Share the Plate to those working with food insecurity in our community:

and Fort Lewis College Grub Hub have each received
an equal share of our total
$12,712 donations is a significant help to their work.
Thank you UUFD!
