Senior week is here! It's an opportunity for us to celebrate the Class of 2022 and for our seniors to make some final memories together!  The schedule for Senior Week is listed below in our "Next Week at a Glance" section.  Encourage your seniors to enjoy these moments with their classmates.  It is our hope to provide as many traditional end-of-the-year events as we can for our Seniors, as there was such disruption to their high school experience.  We are so proud of this senior class and all they have accomplished both in and out of the classroom.  Please join me this week in celebrating the Sea King Class of 2022!

These are the final two weeks of instruction for our students before finals week.  It is important for students to stay focused and finish this school year strong.  I continue to have gratitude for our teachers and staff for their dedication to our Sea King community.  Thank you to our PTSA for a wonderful teacher and staff appreciation week!

Let's make it an amazing week Kings!

Sincerely,

Dr. Trista Ramirez

PVHS Principal

Congratulation to the PVIT Underwater ROV (remotely operated vehicle) team for winning First Place in the MATE Regional ROV competition last weekend in Long Beach, ahead of UCLA’s ROV team. The team has been plagued with technical issues and have been working day and night and around the clock to solve some of the problems. With this win, they secured a spot in the MATE World Championships for the seventh time. Come out and see us compete in June when the MATE World Championships will be held locally this year at Long Beach City College’s new pool, June 23-25. Congratulations to the team for this great result after all their hard work!

We wish them luck!!
