Hi Congregation,
Yesterday’s rains brought to our attention significant structural and water issues that impacted the Ocean Beach Sanctuary. To ensure everyone’s health and safety, we are relocating the 10 AM service to Trotter Chapel at our Mission Valley campus.
This move is for the indefinite future so we can conduct a thorough assessment of the area, remediate water damage, and determine what long solutions may be needed to rectify the situation. In assessing other areas on the Ocean Beach campus to hold worship, we have decided that Hodge Hall will not work due to ADA accessibility guidelines.
Our 9 AM service is live-streamed for our online worship community.
Conversations will take place at 9 AM in Linder 4. Coffee with the Artist, scheduled for this Sunday, is postponed until further notice. The 11 a.m. service will return to the Mission Valley sanctuary.
I know this is very frustrating and disappointing for all of us, but I pray that we will lean on the Holy Spirit for patience and guidance during this time. If you have any questions, please let me know. Sending lots of love.
Grace and Peace,
Rev. Brittany

RE-WILDING BRINGS US A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF WORSHIP APRIL 30 at 10:30 AM
On Sunday morning of our Re-Wilding Conference, April 30 at 10:30 AM, we will offer a special worship service that amplifies the voices of those who have had profound experiences of the Holy. How they've experienced God is important to hear, and bringing their voices to us is unique as they do not typically find a welcome in the traditional church. This last day of our conference gathers together much of what we have been learning in theory and puts it into practice. God will surprise you, move you, excite you and bring you hope in perhaps an unexpected way.
Please mark your calendars now!
Join us live-streamed or in person, for worship

Re-WILDING the Church Conference
Friday, April 28 - Sunday, April 30 | Mission Valley Campus, Linder Hall & Zoom
This conference will examine how to make sense of the changes of culture in this digital era to better understand ourselves and those who aren't in church. This conference is a conversation about the ways the church can enter into the disorienting and exhilarating experience of being present at the birth of a new era—a Re-Wilding movement in its own right.

WE Youth will continue gathering on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month until summer! Join Stasi to dive deep into the topic: "Becoming Peacemakers in a Culture of Violence".
We can't deny that we live immersed in a culture of violence, in so many ways. Over six sessions, we will study what the Christian scriptures have to say about peace & violence, explore systemic oppression as the root of violence, develop tools for countering and preventing violence, and deepen our faith identity as peacemakers.
Invite your friends--all students from 6th through 12th grade are welcome to join at any time! Come to the Youth Room door on the North Side of the church for entry (on Saratoga Ave). We'll provide yummy treats, new friends, deep discussion, and lots of fun!
