Keep Off Lake Ice

The ice is fragile and can break easily. Stay away from the shoreline and keep off the ice. Anyone found on the ice will be trespassed and subject to amenity suspension. Pay close attention to children, and pets must be leashed at all times. If you see anyone fall through the ice, including pets, please call 9-1-1 and avoid unsafe rescue attempts. Check out the video below for tips on how to stay safe this season.

This week, we're talking trash! Our governing documents state that garbage and recycling containers must be out of view except from dusk on the day before the scheduled pickup to the end of the scheduled pickup day. This means trash cans must be stored in an approved trash enclosure, behind a fence or in your garage before your trash collection day ends.

If you are concerned your bins won't fit in your garage, have no fear. Daybreak garages were built to allow both vehicles and trash containers to be stored together. Want to keep them outside? You can apply for a trash enclosure. Check out this trash enclosure example and fill out the application on our website. You can avoid rubbish mix-ups by writing your address on your bins. The Community Standards Team would be happy to come out and assist at your request.

South Jordan City's trash pickup schedule will change on Monday, February 27. View the City's interactive trash map to see if your pick-up day will be affected.

DCC Cardio & Weights Room Access

As a reminder, the Kisi Mobile App or an amenity sticker is required to access the DCC Cardio and Weights Room. If you prefer an amenity sticker, it can be purchased from the DCC front desk for $6. Do not prop the door open, as it leaves the area unsecured and causes damage to our amenity access system.
