The Heart of Virginia Council’s highest volunteer recognition, the Silver Beaver Award, will be awarded to five highly deserving Scouters. These Scouters have made a huge impact in the lives of youth through their hard work, self-sacrifice, and years of dedicated service. Join us as we celebrate these volunteers and others at the annual Council Recognition event on Sunday, April 23rd at 1:00pm in the Cub Adventure Camp Dining Hall.

Save the date for Saturday, October 7th and glow all out at our beautiful Goochland Scout Reservation while we take a 3.2 mile moonlight tour of Cub Adventure Camp and T. The HOVC Advancement Committee is pleased to offer Citizenship in Society Merit Badge Orientation sessions for those selected by their units to serve as merit badge counselors. Save the Date for Sunday, May 21st from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the HOVC Leadership Center! This session is approximately 90 minutes in length and will begin promptly at 2pm. The class size is limited to 20 participants. Registration is open!
