Temporary access restrictions will be in place Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm to facilitate rehabilitation and installation of pedestrian ramps.
Welcome to new business!
Tasty Choice at 704 Morris Park Avenue
With a 10 pages menu, and in their words...”a Middle Eastern restaurant blended with #NYC seasoning, just like the multi-cultures of NYC. Adding a modern touch to the traditional recipes”.

Thanks to the community residents supporting #MorrisPark and #VanNest businesses!
Fall activities in Loreto Park
The Morris Park BID thanks our colleagues from the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation and Partnership for Parks teams for their support for programs in Loreto Park. On Saturday, November 3, community children enjoyed a “Watercolor Painting Workshop” provided by the NYC Parks, Bronx Recreation and supported by MPBID with refreshments and hand sanitizers.
On Sunday, November 4, the MPBID together with Friends of Loreto Playground and Community Board 11 member Natali Medina along with local volunteers removed the weeds and invasive species around the Loreto Park swings area, and planted crocus bulbs at the park entrances. We look forward for completion of the work on the Morris Park Avenue side of Loreto Park, to make possible events and activities for the community
Morris Park BID Starts Horticulture Project
We are excited to announce the first MPBID horticulture project starting October 1 on Morris Park Avenue, executed by The Horticultural Society of New York! 126 tree pits will be cleaned, aerated, and mulched this fall, and 49 guarded tree pits will be cleaned and prepared for planting of ornamental fall plants next week!
We much appreciate the community support to keep tree pits clean! Pet owners, please respect public sanitation requirements and dispose of any droppings in trash receptacles! Thank you!
Fresh Produce Giveaway, October 8, 2020
With the support of our friends from Loving the Bronx, MPBID gave out 50 boxes of fresh produce, fruits and vegetables to local residents on October 8, 2020.
We also took this opportunity to conduct research on the needs of the commercial corridor and opportunities for development, from a consumer perspective.
We will have a second date of fresh produce distribution including fruits and vegetables, preliminarily scheduled for October 22, 2-4pm.
We thank Loving the Bronx for their partnership and support to the Morris Park community!
Thank you to our members, businesses and elected representatives for supporting our work!
