Nathan Hale, well-known author of the popular series Hazardous Tales (including Alamo All-Stars, Big Bad Ironclad, Blades of Freedom, Donner Dinner Party, Lafayette!, Major Impossible, One Dead Spy, Raid of No Return, Treaties, Trenches, Mud & Blood & The Underground Abductor) as well as Apocalypse Taco & One Trick Pony will be visiting DIS He’ll discuss his creative process, how he gets his ideas for books and will be on-hand to sign his books. Students are welcome to bring any of their Nathan Hale books for him to sign. Books should be dropped off in the library by the morning of December 13th.   For more information about Nathan Hale, please visit his website: www.nathanhaleauthor.com.

Students may stop by at any time during the day to see either counselor.

DIS is still conducting state mandated Hearing and Vision Screenings over the next few weeks for all 5th graders.
