THE 411: YOUR LEGACY UPDATE
Back-to-school immunizations are required for Texas students whether they’re learning online or in class. But Legacy’s scheduled vaccination and well-child visits have dropped significantly as COVID-19 safety concerns kept families at home.

Should children receive routine vaccinations during the pandemic, or could they skip them this year? What is Legacy doing to reduce the possibility that families will be exposed to COVID its clinics? Legacy pediatrician Dr. Dolores Medina Carbonell shares some tips to help parents decide.
PROTECTING PATIENTS WITH #TASKS4MASKS
Thanks to you, Legacy has provided more than 8,000 free cloth masks to patients visiting our clinics. But many more are needed, including masks for our pediatric patients. It can be very tough to get kids to understand the reasons why they need to wear a face covering during these times. Learn how to help your child feel more comfortable wearing a face mask.

Join us in making our clinics safer for our providers and patients by sewing masks, donating materials, or making a financial contribution. Visit the #Task4Masks website for more information about how you can help.
COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
To help reduce the spread of the virus, Legacy is screening visitors at the entrances of all clinics open for in-person appointments. We have updated processes and operations to physically separate those who may have COVID-19. Click here to learn more about Legacy's COVID-19 testing and how you can protect yourself and your family.
