Extended Day Program: April 2021

We are so excited to announce that we will be offering full week Extended Day programming beginning April 5th as schools begin their phased in reopening. Starting on April 5th, the Milford Youth Center will be offering afternoon extended day programming from 2:15-5pm for kids ages 8-18 who reside in Milford and/or attend Milford Public Schools. Due to the guidelines from the CDC and local Board of Health, this program will have limited enrollment to allow for cohorts and social distancing. The program will take place in two main forms that must be selected at the time of registration:

Open gym time for students in grades 6-12
Structured activity with free time in the game room and other spaces for students in grades 3-8. (Structured activities include but are not limited to: crafts, nutrition, gardening, STEM, movie day and fitness programs like HIIT with Carly)!

All program offerings will be following all CDC and Board of Health Guidelines at all times. Safety is our top priority! For more information and to register, click

MYC Director Named 2021 "Butch Moore Award Recipient

The Milford Youth Center would like to thank MyFM Media for selecting Jen Ward, Director of the Milford Youth Center, as the recipient of the 2021 Butch Moore “You Touched Upon My Life” Award. A small event was held at the radio studio to celebrate the award, which included members of the MyFM Media team (President Tom McAuliffe II, Ray Auger and Dick Ferrucci), Senator Ryan Fattman, State Rep. Brian Murray, Town Administrator Rick Villani and members from Jen's family, friends and Youth Commission!
