ANNUAL PEACE POSTER CONTEST
Calling all student artists…
The 2020-21 Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest is now open!
Deadline for entries is November 1

Greetings!

Please feel free to forward to students, parents, teachers or youth leaders who may be interested.

For more than 30 years, Lions around the world sponsor an international Peace Poster contest asking students to create a picture of their vision of the year's theme. This year's theme is "Peace Through Service".

The contest is open to all Atlanta metro area students, including homeschoolers, who will be age 11, 12 or 13 by November 15, 2020.

FANTASTIC AWARDS
At the local level, the contest winner will receive $100 from the Atlanta Lions Club.

The winning poster will advance to the district level of the contest, followed by the state level and then the international level.

The International Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip to an award ceremony where he/she will receive $5,000 cash prize. Two family members (one of whom is the parent/guardian) are also invited to accompany the winner to the ceremony. [In the past, pre-COVID, the award ceremony has been at Lions Day at the United Nations.)

Also, 23 international merit winners receive a $500 cash prize for their winning artwork.
