Greetings in the name of our Risen Lord!
Our Health Equity Ministry Team met this week to review our current policies and practices. Masks remain optional while in worship and Faith Formation. We recommend that everyone wear a mask when they are in close contact with others. Our pews will remain distanced at the front of the sanctuary for those who wish to have more space. The back pews will have normal spacing. The Health Equity Team continues to monitor CDC and local government guidance and will make decisions necessary to maintain a safe worship environment. We thank you for your cooperation.

It is Mother's Day! We pray in thanksgiving for the gift of our mothers. Janet Pfister will honor her own mother on Sunday by giving all women in the church a flower. Come and worship with us! Please use the sign-up for in-person services so we can plan accordingly.

Volunteer Opportunities
McLean Day - May 21
Volunteers are needed to interact with those who stop by our booth on McLean Day that will be held in Lewinsville Park. Volunteers will work in 2-hour shifts between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Click here to sign up. For more information contact Roberta Pittman at [email protected].
Summer Bash - June 5
A Summer Bash for the congregation and community will be held on Sunday, June 5, from 12 to 2 pm. We will have food and games. Organizations within the congregation and in the community will be present to highlight their ministries. Volunteers are needed (grill masters, food servers, game/activity volunteers) to help make this fun day a success. Please click here to review the available slots and to sign-up to help. Thank you!
Upcoming Activities
Birthday Decades Party – May 15
A birthday party open to all no matter your age! Come to the Birthday Decades Party to be held on Sunday, May 15, immediately after the 11 am service. (Click here to RSVP.) The event will be held in the gym. We will share a meal and there will be plenty of desserts to go around. Come and be part of this celebration.
Vacation Bible School – July 25 through July 28 (Monday through Thursday)
It is early but plans are underway for Vacation Bible School. This year camp counselors from Mar-Lu-Ridge will come to lead us through the lessons and activities for each day. It starts at 9 am and will conclude at 12 pm. VBS this year is for children ages 6-11. The cost is $20. We can only take 25 children so please register as soon as possible.
