If you have you worshiped with us online this spring, have you completed this brief survey about our livestream services?

In these summer months, when we will have online-only services, we know our worship will be different than it is when we can worship together in the same space. Thus we would appreciate your taking a moment to complete the survey so that we can make that “different” the best experience possible!
This week’s online Friday Noonday Concert comes to us from Westminster Presbyterian Church of Springfield, Illinois. We are delighted to have their organist, Dale Rogers, performing for us works by Norman Cocker, Vincent Lübeck, Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn, Frederic H. Wood, Harrison Oxley, and Dudley Buck. (The June 12 concert program is available to download in advance.)

These weekly online concerts are streamed on Fridays at 12:10 p.m. at www.bit.ly/fpcprograms, where they are also available to enjoy throughout the week.
Are you or someone you know interested in learning more about becoming a member of Fourth Church?

Our next New Member Sunday will be Sunday, June 28, and in advance of that we will be holding an online Inquirers’ Class (required for membership) on Sunday, June 21.

This class offers opportunity to discover more about Fourth Church history, mission, and congregational life; learn about the Presbyterian Church (USA) and Reformed theology; and get to know current members and other class participants.

If you are interested in attending the Sunday, June 21 online class from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., please sign up here, and we will send you the Zoom details.

As we enter summer in this season of pandemic, the Session of Fourth Church has approved a plan for our life together as a church in the summer of 2020.

Included in that plan is the decision to have livestream-only worship throughout the summer months.

Also during that same time period—June through August—the Fourth Church campus will remain closed, and programming will take place online, from Center for Life and Learning exercise classes to VBS to Summer Day to Bible studies and more.

The meeting of essential needs by Fourth Church Meals Ministry and Chicago Lights Social Service Center will continue to be offered outdoors, as it has been since mid-March.
