Introducing the Ecospheres Toolkit

The McKinney Center for STEM Education, Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem, Pennsylvania Statewide STEM Ecosystem, and Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM (TIES) have published the 2021Ecospheres Toolkit. Ecospheres are groups of STEM Ecosystems that are connected by geography, audience, or other unifying factors. Ecospheres support collaboration, identify gaps in services, and foster equitable access to STEM. The Ecospheres Toolkit suggests how to create, staff, sustain, and assess an Ecosphere - while ensuring that these activities are driven by equity, inclusion, and student impact. And although the Toolkit was designed for STEM Ecosystems, it may be useful to organizations using a collective impact model to cultivate STEM networking.
