As the first quarter draws to a close and Fall Break begins, I encourage you to embrace the power of the pause. Our passion to Reimagine 901 takes dedication, enthusiasm, and energy. Our excitement for the work leads us to charge full steam ahead, but we must also reserve time for reflection and fine tuning.
Embrace the relative quiet of the next week and focus on rest, recovery, and renewal. We have reached the end of the first quarter of a marathon, not a sprint. Use this time to take inventory and refocus.
I truly believe there are better days ahead. Our COVID-19 case numbers have been decreasing each week, and vaccines are on the way for children ages 5 to 11.
As Sam Cooke so soulfully sang, “a change is gonna come.” We've been through a lot, but there is light on the horizon. Enjoy Fall Break.
