Experimenting with Nature Art
Azpira Place of Breton residents studied the work of famed nature artist, Andy Goldsworthy, and learned how he rearranges natural art forms in such a way as to enhance rather than detract from their beauty. Inspired by his work, they created a stunning garden art installation with flower petals in the courtyard.

Projects like this one offer lifelong learning opportunities and artistic outlets to help expand the minds and worlds of Azpira Place residents.
Olympic Sized Fun with Friends
Azpira Place of Lake Zurich residents enjoyed some friendly competition when their friends at Aspired Living of Prospect Heights invited them over for an Olympic Games Tournament. Highlights included a water balloon toss and a fierce Family Feud match, in which ultimately Lake Zurich was victorious.
Welcome to the Kitchen

At Azpira Place of Lake Zurich, “Chef” Nancy entertained and fed her fellow residents when she made a batch of her famous and delicious focaccia bread in the demonstration kitchen. Our SenseSations culinary program invites residents who enjoy cooking or baking to continue to pursue their passion in the community kitchen.
A Little Pampering
Goes a Long Way
Azpira Place of Lake Zurich residents received some well-deserved pampering from Schaumburg’s Cosmetology & Spa Academy students, who provided nail, hair, and make-up services. The attention left residents feeling good
inside and out.

Cognitive Impairment and Your Loved One’s Environment

Many adult children are concerned about what happens if a parent’s memory and cognitive skills decline after moving to an assisted living community. More than anything, they want Mom or Dad to be able to age in one place and avoid the stress of moving again.
EYE ON Prevention and Safety
Pathway to Living is being proactive and closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, state and local guidelines regarding the spread of COVID-19 for the safety of our residents, team members, and visitors. All Pathway communities have preventative measures and protocols in place to effectively deal with any outbreak that may affect a community.
