Hospitality Improvements Continue!
The Fellowship Hall and stairwell have now been painted! The Fellowship Hall colors stayed the same, but everything looks fresh and clean. This was one of our 2020 goals - it is great to have it done!
The stairwell is now both brighter and bluer - we have a lovely accent wall that will soon be adorned with a beautiful piece of custom art - we look forward to sharing that with you when it is installed! This was a 'discovered need' project, and we were able to have this done thanks to the 2020 surplus funds.
Thank you for your generosity, which has allowed us to complete these important projects!
Our next improvement will be refurbishing the sound panels in the Fellowship Hall, which is also made possible by the 2020 surplus. We will share those updates as they happen!

Grace continues offering in-person worship opportunities, including two worship services in the Sanctuary, while online worship services continue.
We are glad to share opportunities for Holy Communion in the coming weeks.
For those who attend the in-person worship services, Communion is offered outside on the front porch of the church building as everyone departs.
For those who are not yet attending worship in-person, Grace's pastors are offering dedicated times to visit and provide the sacrament (outdoors only). Click on the following links to schedule some time for a pastor to visit and commune with you!
Click here for the weekly options, offered at 11am on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the coming months.
Click here for the 'flex' time slots, and a pastor will be in contact with you to schedule a time that works for everyone.

We celebrate the Baptism of Seth Wendell Grossoehme
This past Saturday, a small group of family and church members gathered in the Grace garden to witness the Baptism of Seth Grossoehme. Seth is the son of Nick and Jill Grossoehme, and brother to Laurel. Art and Karen Harris are his godparents.
Seth's Baptism was included in the Sunday worship video, giving us all the opportunity to witness and promise to support Seth in his new life in faith. We give thanks for Seth and the sacrament he has received, and we welcome him into the Body of Christ and the mission we all share!

We will not be selling Easter lilies this year, however, we are still planning to collect special donations for the Good Samaritan Fund, remembering that even with all that is different during this pandemic, the need to offer assistance remains unchanged. If you would like to make a contribution to the Good Samaritan Fund in honor or memory of someone for Easter this year, please let us know by contacting the Church Office.

2021 Altar Flower Sign-Up
Altar flowers will be back in the Sanctuary on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. It has been a long-standing tradition at Grace for members to sponsor the weekly flowers to honor or in memory of family and friends. This year we are asking you to use an on-line sign-up form, please use the link in this article to access. If you are uncomfortable using the on-line sign-up or do not have access, please contact the Church office (803-324-5295 or parishadmin@gracerockhill.com).
The cost is $45.00 for one (1) or $90.00 for both (2) vases. Each date on the sign-up form has two (2) spaces, check the number of vases you wish to sponsor, please check both if you are signing up for both vases, and scroll to the very bottom of the page to submit. You will also be asked to add the dedication of the flowers and to let us know if you will be picking up the flowers after the 11:00 service or another day of the week. If you do pick up the flowers, please return the liner(s) to the Church.
You will receive an email confirming your choice. If you wish to make changes to your chosen date, please contact the Church office.

To all our Grace family,
Sadly Jack & I have moved to OH to be near our daughter due to our health issues. Our lake house sold quickly during the "pandemic".
Fortunately, our neighbor offered their house next door for us to stay while we tied up loose ends. We will be living with our daughter until our new house is completed. Her address is 3040 Gearhart Rd, Troy, OH 45373. You can reach me on cell phone 803-517-2022 & Jack 517-2444.
It was hard to leave without the opportunity to say goodbye. We miss our church family so much. So we send virtual hugs & wishes to stay safe & healthy. -Bea
PS: I took some bay leaves by the church office before we left. Enjoy!
