NEW: Date Change for Freshmen/Sophomore Women's Retreat

Due to impending weather, the 9th and 10th grade female students that have registered for the Women’s Conference will join the 11th & 12th grade students on Friday, February 10th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Center.
The Young Men’s Conference will be held on February 10th as well. It will be at St. Patrick’s Parish for all 11th and 12th grade male students that have registered.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Hamilton in Student Services, Mrs. Richmond in Campus Ministry, or Mrs. Callanan in the LMC.

NEW: Donation Request for the Mini Dance Marathon

The Mini Dance Marathon is requesting donations of mini water bottles and individually prepackaged snacks for those that are attending the Mini Dance Marathon on Friday, February 17th.
Please sign up below. Donations can be brought to the front desk on Friday, February 17th from 7:30-10:30am.

Reminder: FACTS Applications for the 2023-24 School Year |

The FACTS online application for STO opened on January 1st, with the deadline being
April 15th. In addition to completing the application, parents must upload their
2022 federal tax return and other required schedules or tax documentation. Families who applied last year should have received an email that the 23-24 applications are open.
With the passing of ESA legislation, Xavier High School strongly encourages families to complete the FACTS management forms in addition to the forthcoming application for ESAs. This potentially opens up more opportunities for families to receive tuition assistance through multiple sources.

Reminder: PowerSchool Registration / Admissions Priorities for the 2023-24 School Year |

PowerSchool Registration is available starting today, January 30, for all Xavier Catholic Schools families. You are welcome and encouraged to start this process at this time. A final deadline will be in July. Communication will be shared with families this summer, closer to this deadline. Please keep in mind that if you complete this process in advance, additional information will be needed in July for final registration. Thank you!

Guidance on enrollment decisions in the case of limited enrollment or waitlist situations at certain grade levels has been put in place. Priority enrollment is given to currently-enrolled students, children of Xavier Catholic School employees, and siblings of current students whose families are in good standing. We guarantee your child’s spot if the registration process is complete by March 1st, 2023.*

2023 Post Prom will be held on April 22, 2023 immediately following Xavier Prom. As always, the goal of Post Prom has been to provide a safe, fun, drug- and alcohol-free environment for our students.
We are in need of Post Prom Co-Chairs (2) and Prize Chairs (2). This is typically served by junior parents. If you are interested or have questions regarding either, please text Kelly Hiserote at 319-533-8300

Reminder: Tuition Statements |

To make the process more efficient for families, we are asking parents to print off tuition statements from the "My BackPack" website (step by step process below) to use for the Tuition Tax Credit on your Iowa tax return. The credit is maxed out at $2,000 of allowed school expense per student (tuition, textbooks) for the 2022 calendar year and the maximum credit is $500 or 25% of max expense per student.
Please provide this documentation to the person who prepares your tax return to take advantage of the tuition tax credit.
