Pastor Bob's Stage Debut
in Mamma Mia!
"What an amazing experience I had this past week. Stepping outside of my comfort zone to do something I have never done before and the pay off was having such a great time. Being in the cast of MAMMA MIA was nothing short of pure joy! Thank you Chelsey Everhart, the Director of Drama at Orange Lutheran High School for inviting me to play the role of Father Alexandrios. Thank you to the cast and crew for making me so much a part of the MAMMA MIA family. You encouraged me and inspired me! It is a great story for this time of year. It is the story of relationships, sorrow and joy, forgiveness and redemption, and the story of discovering one's identity. After 5 performances, I still have the music and lyrics running through my mind. In fact when Jeannie and I walked into Starbucks this morning ABBA's "Dancing Queen" was playing through their sound system. My biggest take away and lesson from this experience is that you are never too old to try something new. I feel so renewed and alive and ready for the next challenge and new experience. Thanks to all who came to see the show!"
