Community Update:
This past week (11/17-23) we have had 0 new reportable positive Covid-19 cases within our school.

Click here to review the Re-opening plan from the beginning of the year. We ask that if your child is not feeling well to please keep them home. If anyone in the household is being tested for COVID, please keep all children home from school. The front office is always willing to talk through scenarios with you since every family dynamic is unique. We appreciate everyone being patient and flexible as we continue to navigate each situation.

Raider Pride:
The OLMC Robo Raiders have qualified for advancement to the Indiana FLL State Championship.  In Saturday’s qualifying tournament the team scored 4th place in the Robot Game, and their combined score for their Project, Robot Design and Core Values was high enough to earn a spot at the state championship.  With 18 teams in the tournament the competition was tough, but the Raiders skill, perseverance, and gracious professionalism made the difference.
The team:
             Michael Foster
             Luke Foster
             Griffin O’Connor
             Madeline Nies
             Leo Schwartz
             Adelaide Staub
             Elizabeth Nies
             Brian Vasquez
             Nicholas Staub
Teacher/Staff Christmas Gifts:
Let us make your Christmas shopping easier! The PTO is collecting Christmas gift money for teachers and staff. The gifts will be pooled together and each teacher and staff member will get their individual gift in SCRIP cards.

This year you can donate in one of two ways:

  • Send in a check to the school in an envelope marked “PTO Christmas Contribution.” Please make all checks out to OLMC PTO with “Christmas Contribution” in the memo line.

For ease in ordering with SCRIP, we are kindly asking that you give your donation in $5 increments (Ex. $5, $10, $20, etc). We are also asking that you make your online or check donations by Wednesday, December 1st.

Your room parents will work with the PTO to make sure the teachers and staff receive the SCRIP cards they desire for Christmas.
Saint Nicholas is Comin’ to Town!
Tuesday, November 30-Thursday, Dec 2, 2021
Parish Hall from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (except Thursday’s Late Start at 10:00 am)

The K-5 teachers have signed up for a time slot. Please be on the lookout for a flyer that provides your child’s time to shop, as well as a place to fill out (and return with your child on their shopping day) whom your child should shop for and how much.

Please make checks out to Celtic Cross (not OLMC). Click here for flyer.

There will be shopping available during lunch periods for all grades.

We need a lot of help to keep the shop running smoothly and ensure the kids have a great experience! Please pick a time slot or several if your schedule permits. The younger grades need the most help. Your help is invaluable and so appreciated! Please let me know if you have questions. Contact Veronica Werth at veronica@oco.net.
Sponsor an Entire Child or Angels for the 2022 Community Care Day
THE COMMUNITY OF ANDERSON IS STRUGGLING!
We will once again be going to St. Mary's and providing children the opportunity to come and collect the beautiful donations you give to keep them warm, clothed and fed! This will take place on
January 15. Please consider volunteering to help!

We are NOT going to let the pandemic get in the way of helping these children, and we found
a safe way to do it as a parish family! We elongated the hours and are only having 10 families in every 15 minutes.

By signing up below you will provide a child's most basic needs in the community of Anderson. You can sign up to sponsor an entire child, or sign up to sponsor specific things for a child by signing up for
angels. ANGELS ARE ON THE TREES THIS YEAR, and we encourage you to go look at the trees to find angels you would like to buy for in the OLMC Church Narthex!

If you sign up here, you can request the child sponsorship document and shop for all needs of children OR sponsor the food for a family, or sponsor an entire family! All options are available. The sign up will request your contact information. We will mail you all sponsorship form or forms. If you don’t want to go to the trees and select angels, we can to that for you and mail them to you if you request specific angels.

Please turn all of your donations into the MHC by Monday, December 13 at 5:00 p.m.

Would you rather sponsor a child financially and have us shop for you?

We are so happy to shop for you! Perhaps you would like to sponsor food for a family? No matter what you sign up for, we will mail you a sponsor letter! We are grateful for ANY help you are willing to give!

Donations can be sent to:

Merciful HELP Center 1045 West 146th Street, Suite A, Carmel IN 46032

We are grateful for you!! Click here to read the FAQs

Please email questions to: communitycareday@mercifulhelpcenter.org

Bless you for caring for these beautiful children of God!
