Register now for the Blended
2021 Southeast Conference Annual Meeting!
After careful consideration and consultation with the community of Haines, their EOC, and the Southeast Conference Board of Directors, we are pleased to offer this year's Annual Meeting as a blended event. Thanks to a robust internet connection, courtesy of AP&T, we have the ability to accommodate virtual speakers and participants, including some of the SEC Board of Directors. We encourage anyone with concerns to embrace the virtual option. Your participation and input (even virtually) makes our event a success. If you paid for in-person registration and need to switch to virtual, there are no cancellation fees, just contact staff for a refund.

For our in-person attendees, we ask that you are either fully vaccinated or have negative COVID-19 test results (preferably within 72 hours of arriving in Haines) and wear a mask throughout the event.

Whether virtually or in person, you won't want to miss our amazing line-up of speakers on topics critical to the region.

Lets do all that we can to keep Haines and Southeast Strong!
Day One Spotlightlight:
Tuesday's Lunch Keynote Speaker
U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski
Southeast Conference is so pleased to welcome U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski in person, as our keynote speaker on Tuesday, Sept 14. As Alaska’s senior U.S. Senator, Lisa is a third generation Alaskan proudly serving as the first Alaskan born senator. Murkowski was born in Ketchikan and raised in towns across the state, including Wrangell, Juneau, Fairbanks, and Anchorage. She is married to Verne Martell and they have two grown sons. Lisa loves spending time in the Alaska outdoors. She’s an avid skier, has hiked on glaciers, enjoys fall duck hunts, and has a pretty impressive King Salmon mounted on her office wall.
Since joining the Senate in 2002, Senator Murkowski has worked tirelessly for Alaskans and earned a reputation in the Senate for her ability to work collaboratively and across the aisle to reach common sense solutions. Murkowski is well-known for her love and dedication to her state, which means putting Alaska first.
Shuttle Service in Haines
The M/V Le Conte departs Juneau at 2pm on Monday, Sept. 13th, scheduled to arrive in Haines at 6:30pm. If you need transportation in Juneau from the airport to the ferry terminal, please let us know - info@seconference.org.

In Haines on Monday, complementary shuttle service will meet the ferry and all incoming flights. Tuesday-Thursday morning, a shuttle will do a continuous loop from 7-8:30 am, stopping at the Aspen, Halsingland Hotel, Captain's Choice and the conference hall. The shuttle will also operate at the end of the day. If you're staying elsewhere, feel free to meet the shuttle at one of the pick up points.
Auction Items Needed for UAS!
Since 1992, Southeast Conference has partnered with UAS to offer a scholarship program that supports residents of the region. Scholarship funds have been raised through an auction that is generously supported by individuals and businesses throughout Southeast and conducted each year at the Annual Membership Meeting. We are actively seeking auction items. Join Alaska Airlines, Royal Caribbean, OBI Seafoods, the City and Borough of Sitka and the Rie Munoz gallery in showing your support! Thank you in advance for helping make this event a success!
