November issue of Let's Talk Business out now

Hounslow Contact Tracing Team
Hounslow Council has launched a local COVID-19 contact tracing system to back up NHS Test and Trace and help to get coronavirus under control in the borough. The new system will see Council staff support efforts to locate people who have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Gaps have been identified in the nationwide Test and Trace system, with only about two-thirds of those who need to be contacted being reached. The new localised, One Hounslow approach aims to improve this by helping the NHS and getting in touch with the other third.

Yesterday on 9th November the Prime Minister made a statement outlining the early positive news on the vaccine. He stressed the need for us all to continue to follow the current national restrictions to 2nd December, when these measures expire and we plan to move forward with a tiered approach.
