Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, this community stepped up to the plate and made sure the food bank had enough food to help our neighbors. It's time to reach out and thank all of you that pitched in. This is the first newsletter that we will be sending out to let you know what we are doing. What's Going On?

The Franklin Food Bank 2021 Spring Mailing is here! This year our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase a trailer like the one pictured below! A refrigerated trailer will help us to store enough fresh items - such as produce, milk and eggs - to keep Franklin families nourished all summer long and beyond! Empty Bowls Pottery and Art Sale is on June 19th!!! The 2021 Empty Bowls event will be held Saturday, June 19th from *10 - 4pm on Rue Chagall! Come and shop from a variety of beautiful pottery, textile art and crocheted baby/lap blankets all handmade by local artists! Best of all, you get to support the food bank! Staff Spotlight Mike Clare NEW Warehouse Supervisor A task master who gets the job done - we are lucky to call him our new Warehouse Supervisor! This is perhaps the most important job at the food bank because of the thousands of pounds distributed every day! When he's not in the room, he is missed...also that room is much quieter than whichever room he went to. Congratulations to Mike Clare on a much deserved promotion!
