50+ ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
This Saturday, February 11
For World Marriage Day we are honoring couples who have been married 50 years or more in 2023!
  • You and your spouse are invited to process in with Father during the opening procession at the 5:00pm Mass on Saturday, February 11. Please arrive at 4:45pm.
  • Please bring a wedding photo to display in the narthex for the month of February. (You can drop it by the office, email a copy to lstanger@sjvkirkland.org, or bring it the night of the event.)
  • Fill out and return Words of Wisdom for 50+ years of wedded bliss, and return to the parish office or drop it in the collection basket at Mass. 
  • There will be a renewal of wedding vows for all married couples during Mass, and a small reception in your honor in the narthex following Mass.

PREPARES APPEAL
This Weekend, February 11-12
PREgnancy and PAREnting Support is an initiative of the Washington State Bishops to provide a nurturing response and promise to mothers and fathers who have chosen life. A promise of support and care from pregnancy to their child’s fifth birthday. Regardless of religious beliefs, this parish-based program offers low-income families vital life affirming services. Statewide, PREPARES has supported thousands of families with one-on-one companionship and child essentials. Infant Baptisms are celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, except during Lent. Our next one is Sunday, May 7 at 12:00 noon. CATHOLIC KIDS' CATECHISM CLUB
Super Bowl Sundae Training Camp
CKCC is getting pumped up for Super Bowl Sundae this weekend! The group with the highest number of points at the end gets 5 toppings on their ice cream Super Bowl Sundaes!

We offer sessions for 3yrs - kindergarteners during the 9:00am Mass. Parents drop their children off in room #6 where we learn about the Mass. At about 9:30am the children move into the preschool classroom with Ms. Lindy our catechist, where they hear the Sunday Gospel and have an opportunity to do related crafts, play, and enjoy a snack.

Our 1st through 5th graders meet on Sundays from 9:55-10:55am OR on Monday from 7:00-8:00pm in room #6. Registration forms are available at the welcome table and on our parish website, where you can also for more information.

The Memorial Service for Irene Vitulli will be on Saturday, February 11 at 11:00am at St. Teresa of Calcutta in Woodinville.
 
Heavenly Father, we ask for your mercy and grace for her on her journey into eternal life. Please bring her into your loving arms and grant her peace and rest.

WOMEN'S BOOK GROUP
Tonight - Tuesday, February 7 at 7:00pm
The first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm our Women’s Book Group gathers with wine and chocolate to discuss a book that has been chosen by the group. Join any time! You do not need to read the book to come to book group. The February book is Sefl-Compassion by Kristin Neff. The March book is The Gift of Imperfection by Brene Brown. See you then!
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

SENIOR DINNER (55+)

We had a great turnout in January. Thank you to all who joined us for fun and laughter. Our next event will be an Italian dinner. Remember your 4 quarters for the Left, Right, Center dice game. Glen Rollman was the big winner last month. We are looking forward to seeing you all again. Price is &10/person (cash only please). To sign up, stop in or call the parish office by Tuesday, February 14 so we know how much food to prepare.

Financial Scholarships for World Youth Day
Twelve scholarships are available for youth or young adults who would like to attend World Youth Day, but would find the cost to be a barrier. Recipients will only have to pay $500 plus airfare. Applications are due February 22. Click here to apply.
