Educational meetings are open to all but are generally designed for the benefit of our Controllers, Business and Office Managers in the Southern and Northern California Areas.

Due to the COVID-19 Corona Virus, we will host an online conference call meeting each month, which allows you to participate via phone or web from the comfort of your home or work. Once you're registered to participate we will send you an Uber invite confirming your participate.

I am very proud to say COVID-19 might have given us a few obstacles but ADOMA has overcome most of them and strived to continue to provide our members and friends of ADOMA with monthly educational online meetings each month.

Governor Newsom issues executive order to end sales of new gasoline-powered vehicles by 2035

Today, September 23, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued a new Executive Order directing the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to develop regulations that lead to all new passenger vehicles and light trucks sold in California being zero-emissions by 2035. It also requires that new medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses sold and operated in the state be zero-emissions by 2045. The Governor’s Executive Order is only the first step

Federal law: New FFCRA updates
General clarifications issued September 11, 2020
On August 3, 2020, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that parts of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) regulations pertaining to paid leave were invalid. In light of this ruling, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) issued revisions to the regulations that clarify the provisions at issue.
