CrisisGo Safety iPass- Covid-19 Screener - IMPORTANT
The District will be utilizing CrisisGo Safety iPass to manage the pre-certification of students and staff to ensure only healthy individuals are allowed into schools. CrisisGo's Safety iPass solution allows the District to monitor potential risk to manage entry and immediately escalate notifications of COVID-19 positive results from staff or students to school health services.
Parents will receive an email each morning at 4:00 am and are expected to complete the screener for each child prior to 7:30 am for AM attendees and 11:30 am for PM attendees. Upon the report submission, CrisisGo will give your student a Color-Coded QR code based on the responses. The app version will be ready for a later date - please do not use this version at this time.
GREEN → Come to school
YELLOW → Stay home; a nurse will follow-up with a call
RED → Stay home & email principal and nurse; a nurse will follow-up with a call
When students arrive at their assigned entry point, staff will have access to a CrisisGo dashboard to verify entry. If there are any issues, staff will work with individual students and may call home.

Guidelines for Student Drop-Off
For families with children attending multiple schools, the District is aware for the need to be flexible on arrival time. It is requested that students are not dropped off earlier than 8:20 a.m. (AM pod) or 12:20 pm (PM pod) and it is suggested you drop off your oldest child first.
Please remember that students must wear masks upon arrival on campus.
If you are biking or walking to school with your child, please note that we cannot accommodate parent visitors inside the school at this time. At The Skokie School and Carleton Washburne School, we are asking that parents do not cross onto the block on which the schools are located in order to minimize the concentration of people and maximize social distancing.
Family Health and Safety Pledge-Please Sign by August 27
Our community's shared commitment to health and safety during the COVID-19 global pandemic not only supports our schools but also extends to the whole community's health and wellness. Our individual decisions impact not only our own health but that of others. With this in mind, families are required to review and sign the pledge by the start of the 2020-2021 school year on August 27, 2020.
Absence Reporting
Blackboard Emergency System Test: Wednesday, August 26 at 10:30 a.m.
The District will be conducting a test via Blackboard, our emergency call, email, and text system. Blackboard is typically used to alert parents and staff of weather-related school closures and emergency situations. This year, we will also use this system to alert classes of closures due to quarantine. Please contact your building secretary if you would like to update your emergency contact phone numbers or email addresses.

Monday, September 14 - Non-Student Attendance Day
The District will be holding a teacher planning day to allow for necessary adjustments to the hybrid in-person and remote learning plans. This day will allow us to learn from our early experience and make improvements. The District's calendar is updated to reflect this non-student day of attendance.
