With the uptick in global floods and fires recently, it's hard to ignore the impacts that our climate is having on the lives of people across the world. Our thoughts go out to those affected by the devastating floods in Germany and the damaging fires in California that caused so much smoke, we experienced a dimming of our skies here in New Jersey.

The good news is that preserving land helps to absorb greenhouse gases and act as a sponge for floodwaters. We continue to cultivate projects here in Monmouth County to preserve more land for our immediate enjoyment and for the benefit of future generations.

Sincerely,

William D. Kastning, AICP
Executive Director
