Our mission: to be a sign of Christ’s love for the world.
We rejoice that we will be opening up our sanctuary to 200 people during worship next Sunday, March 21st, at 9 am. We will continue to live stream the service so that you may worship in the way you feel safest. In order to be safe and "do no harm" as the family of God, please be prepared to abide by the following protocols:

  • Wear a mask at all times 😷
  • Maintain 6-foot social distance ⬅️ 6ft ➡️
  • Enter sanctuary from the main front entrance (unless you have need of the elevator) 🚪
  • Sign in with the usher as guided 📝
  • Usher will seat all worshippers in "reserved for you" spots

We sooo look forward to being together in our holy space again. NOTE: Beginning EASTER SUNDAY, We will change the time of worship to 10 am and stay at that time until we can move back to two services.

Altar Flowers
This week's flowers are in loving memory of Doug Jones from his wife Elizabeth. If you want to see these beautiful arrangements, make sure you watch the Worship service on Facebook Live. In addition to the calendar on Aisha’s office door, we’ve created a Sign-Up Genius to make it super easy to reserve a date to place flowers on the altar. Flowers on the altar make our worship more beautiful and alive. If you would like to use the church’s florist, The Blossom Shop, Aisha will be happy to call in the order for you. The standard seasonal arrangement they provide is $50 plus tax but will enhance it with specific flower and color requests for an additional cost. You can also bring in an arrangement from your garden, a market, or wherever you want to get them. We’ve got lots of available dates, so click here to sign-up for 2021, and let’s bring some of the beauty of God’s creation into our worship in the Sanctuary.

Ushers & Video/Sound Assistants Needed

Also, all of our new video/sound equipment has been installed, and our Pro, Steven Moore, is ready to train volunteers. Get Egged This Easter by Dilworth Church
Want to help spread God's love in the community this Easter, AND cross something off your to-do list? Sign up to get your yard "egged" by Dilworth Church's own Easter Bunny helpers! While we are not holding the usual Easter egg hunt at church this year, we will stealthily come to your home the weekend of Easter Sunday and hide Easter eggs in your own yard. You can sign up for this festive surprise for your own family, or sign up to "egg" a neighbor's or friend's yard!

Plastic eggs will contain small toys. All proceeds will go to Room Above. The suggested donation is $20 per yard for 30 eggs.

Please enter your information at this link by March 22nd so we can include you on our route. If signing up for multiple yards, please create multiple signups.

All eggs will be delivered and quickly hidden throughout the day and evening on Friday, April 2nd; Easter egg hiders will text a heads up on timing so you can avert little eyes.

Donations can be made on the website at dilworthchurch.org/give. Please put Easter Egging Donation in the Designated For Line on the giving website.
