Dear Lovejoy Families -
Happy Friday Leopards! We packed a lot into a short week including teacher professional development, collaboration with local first responders, Willow Springs Open House, PTO Council Meeting, and a Foundation for Lovejoy Schools Executive Board Meeting. I loved hearing the Willow Springs teachers sharing with parents the amazing learning opportunities that are happening in our classrooms.
Check out this week’s video. I have a special guest from the Foundation for Lovejoy Schools who joined me to talk about the Foundation’s Annual Appeal Campaign. The Foundation for Lovejoy Schools is an incredible partner to Lovejoy ISD providing resources that enhance the educational experiences of all Lovejoy ISD students.
Tonight, we look forward to cheering on our football team, band, guard, cheerleaders, Majestics, and athletic trainers in the away game against Princeton High School.
Next week is homecoming. I cannot wait to see Leopard Pride out in full force. We would love to have a big homecoming crowd at Leopard Stadium on Friday, September 17. I will be hosting a Lovejoy alumni tent before the game as part of our commitment to the Leopard legacy.
