BREAKING GROUND FOR THE ETERNAL FLAME
On Friday, October 16th, 2020, RUSH Construction joined with local leaders to break ground on the Eternal Flame at the American Police Hall of Fame in Titusville, FL.

The Eternal Flame will be a 10-story infinity symbol featuring a blue rose with a ten foot tall flame blazing from its petals. The flame will burn continuously 24/7 in recognition of all law enforcement officers past, present, and future. This tribute monument has been hailed as the single most significant monument to law enforcement since President John F. Kennedy 50 years ago signed into law a proclamation naming May 15 as National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day.

RUSH Marine: Tavares Seaplane Base and Marina
The Tavares Seaplane Base and Marina is a seaplane airport and recreational boating marina located on Lake Dora at Wooton Park in Tavares Florida, America’s Seaplane City. The marina structures at the park suffered major damage due to Hurricane Irma in 2017. RUSH Marine, LLC was awarded this 5.8-million-dollar project by Haskell Company, which includes construction of a new floating seaplane dock, a floating boat dock marina and a fueling dock. The work commenced in October 2020 with a 6-month duration. Applied Technology and Management is the engineer firm for the project.

The project consists of construction a new 340’ long floating seaplane dock with utilities and lighting anchored by a seaflex cable system with helical anchors. A new floating dock marina with 80 boat slips will be constructed anchored by 56 concrete piles. The marina will include power and water stations to service waterborne vessels. The current fueling dock will be reconstructed with floating docks including fuel pumps for boats and aircraft. Additionally, the existing boat ramp will be reconstructed to better accommodate aircraft access to the parking area from Lake Dora.

Once built Tavares city officials, residents and business owners say the marina will attract more people to downtown Tavares and spark the downtown economy.
