Meeting Dates

Families of incoming Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten students are invited to visit their home school site on Thursday, February 23rd, from 1:30-2:30. Meet the teachers and hear from our principals and school office managers. If you have neighbors with little folks who are turning 5 years old by September 1, 2023, they are eligible for Kindergarten! Children turning 4 years old by April 2, 2023, are eligible for TK (Transitional Kindergarten).

This last week, our middle school math teachers took time to collaborate, review mathematical practices, and create relevant and tailored math instruction for our FVSD students. We value their commitment to continuous improvement.

Biome Diorama Museum

Masuda Middle School students from Ms. Daghighian's class showcased their Biome Diorama projects. Depictions of the earth's major ecosystems included: Desert, Grassland, Tundra, Deciduous Forest, Tropical Rain Forest, and Taiga.

Teacher Art Coordinators at each of our ten school sites are collecting student artwork to display at our FVSD 20th Annual District Art Show, Let Your Art Shine. Save the date for this event, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, 4:00-7:00 pm at our FVSD District Office. There will be interactive art stations, food trucks, middle school choir performances, and fun for the whole family.
