Dear Students, Families, Faculty and Staff,

Our hard work to keep the ESF campus safe is yielding encouraging results. As we continue to navigate the pandemic, ESF will keep you informed with important reminders and updates.

Get Your Flu Shot. With cold and flu season upon us, it is important to take measures that can help prevent you from getting sick. Any member of the ESF community who uses the Syracuse University campus is expected to receive a flu vaccination. ESF is offering flu clinics on Friday, Oct. 22 and Monday, Oct. 25 at Gateway from 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. You must have your insurance card or insurance card information. If you are unable to make either clinic, please call the ESF student health center at Crouse Medical Practice at 315-766-1628.

What to Do If You’re Not Feeling Well. If you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms, do not go to class or to the Syracuse University Testing Center. Students who believe they may have been exposed or who are experiencing COVID-like symptoms should stay home, report their symptoms and exposure, and call Crouse Medical Practice at 315-766-1628 for medical evaluation/diagnostic COVID testing. Faculty and staff experiencing COVID-like symptoms should stay home and call their primary care provider.

COVID Dashboard Reactivated. The COVID dashboard can be found on the Restart page and tracks total tests administered; total active cases; contacts in quarantine; and total recovered cases. This is updated on a daily basis. At the time of this message, there are only two active cases.

New FAQs are Available. You can find answers to frequently asked questions on masking; contact tracing; and exposure, isolation and quarantine at the bottom of the Restart page.

COVID Resource Documents Updated. We reorganized the most relevant resources for students & families and faculty and staff on the Restart page

Refer to the Public Health Guidance for ESF Campus. Our public health guidance document provides guidelines in an effort to create a healthy space for the campus community. Here, you will find campus guidance on masking, vaccination, gatherings, extracurricular activities, athletics, testing, resources, and more. You can find the document here

Thank you for your continued diligence and cooperation.
