5th Grade Track Meet Recap

Today all of our 5th graders from both Wales and Explore participated in our district's annual 5th grade track meet. We are so proud of all of our learners for participating and giving it their all. Our Campus was well-represented, with having an extremely high amount of personal improvements from almost all of our learners. Great job to all!

End of Year Checklist for Families

As the end of the year approaches, we would like your help in getting our school set up for next year. We are asking all families to do the following -

  • Check the Lost and Found
  • Look around your house for any books that belong to the library, or to classroom teachers. Hint: Library books will have a barcode on them that says "Wales Elementary" and classroom books will have a letter written on the back cover in sharpie.
  • Pick up Health Room Meds - Stop into the health room or make arrangments prior to the end of the year to gather any medication you have left in our health room
  • Remind learners that cubbies/lockers must be cleaned out before leaving for the year. Encourage your students to bring home anything in their cubbies they aren't using (snow gear, completed school work, art projects, etc.)

Blessings In a Backpack

There are many hungry kids throughout our area, and we are trying to make sure that those kids who need the food receive it from our organization. If you wish for your student(s) to participate in the program, you do not need to do anything.

If you choose to OPT OUT of this program, you can either: sign the form sent home and return it school or fill out this Google Form.
