IDA's Mission is to create a future for all individuals who struggle with dyslexia and other related reading differences so that they may have richer, more robust lives and access to the tools and resources they need.
Dyslexia Awareness
You can raise awareness during these last few weeks of Dyslexia Awareness Month by simply adding a Dyslexia Awareness frame to your Facebook profile picture. Go to https://www.facebook.com/profilepicframes and search for "IDA Go Red."

The Examiner, our quarterly e-letter, keeps you abreast of IDA happenings and on top of dyslexia and literacy-related news in the field and around the world. "Even the most competent teacher cannot be successful in teaching reading, especially to children who are at-risk or struggling with literacy, if provided with inadequate instructional contexts or inappropriate instructional materials and approaches that do not lend themselves to effective teaching of important component literacy skills." IDA offers this guide to brief educators on the components of Structured Literacy.

The Dyslexia and Reading Disabilities Resource Guide For Families and Teachers Affected by COVID-19 is provided by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) to deliver resources, both from and IDA and external sources, to students, families, and teachers affected by school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each week, as we work together to overcome the new challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, IDA is giving free access to a presentation from past Reading, Literacy & Learning Conferences.
