Randolph Community College

October 21 is Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, and I want to thank ALL of our members, volunteers, community partners, and friends who have continued to support this chamber over these past few months. Chambers of Commerce like ours have never been more crucial, and we remain focused on economic recovery and supporting our members far into the future. We are here for your benefit and to work with each of you in the way you need us.
I hope to see many of you at our annual retreat this Friday at the George Washington Carver Community Center - we will do everything we can to follow safety protocols so you feel comfortable, and we have a timely agenda with great speakers planned.

If you need something from us, TELL us! #ChamberStrong
Thought for the Week
Annual Retreat is THIS Friday, October 23rd | 1-4PM
Space is limited to 75 people; be sure to register today!
As we have all heard and experienced, 2020 has been and continues to be a tough year! One of the best things we can do in uncertain times is to help others in need in our community.

This year as part of the Chamber’s Retreat, we would like to offer the opportunity for our members to
volunteer in our local nonprofit organizations on October 24, 2020. This would be working on short term
projects that would take about four hours maximum to complete.

If you and your family are interested in participating, contact chamber@asheboro.com!

The NC Main Street & Rural Planning Center Needs Over 2,000 Small Businesses to Leverage More Resources for THEM!
The NC Main Street & Rural Planning Center (NCMS&RP) has formed a partnership with the Small Business Technology Development Center (SBTDC) to survey small businesses (under 100 employees) across North Carolina to identify their greatest needs. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and will provide them with important information to customize statewide training webinars and small business assistance that fits the needs of small businesses in NC.

We are looking for 2000 small business responses from across the state. We ask that you share this survey with the small businesses in your community and strongly encourage them to complete it no later than Friday, October 23, 2020. The success of this survey depends on the number of NC small businesses that complete the survey so please encourage them to complete and share the link with other NC small businesses. If you have questions, please contact Karen Smith.
