Thank you for closing your dumpster lids to help prevent pollution!

When rainwater pools in dumpsters, it causes rust and creates holes that allow smelly, dirty water to seep into the nearest storm drain and flow into nearby water bodies like Bear Creek and the Sammamish River. Thank you for doing your part to protect your local waterways. Redmond Clean & Green!

Event Recap - Middle East North African (MENA) Task Force
OneEastside SPARK together with community partner Mohammed Akmoosh engaged in a short-term MENA Task Force project, involving 12 business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs on the eastside with the goal of having participants guide us on how to support them appropriately. The task force made solid headway in identifying the needs and interests of community representatives and connecting them with institutional resources. Activities included an in-person listening session on November 14; conversations with the Welcome Back Center at Highline College, and ongoing one-on-one follow-up sessions. The Task Force extends its deep thanks and appreciation to the Office of King County Councilmember Sarah Perry for its support of this work!
