A blend of 70 percent carinena (carinyena, locally) and 30 percent garnacha, it's juicy yet playful, with tart berry flavors blended with scents of lavender and lilac, chives and thyme. Made in a classic style, this 2018 gives appealing, and very Sancerre-like flavors of plump citrus and apple along with tropical guava, all atop a chalky frame. Delicious and smartly priced, it is a great alternative to more expensive quality Sancerre bottlings. (France)
