Bishop Grimes Announces Three New Hires for Fall 2021

Bishop Grimes is excited to announce the hiring of two teachers and one staff member ahead of the 2021-2022 academic year.

Sara George

English


Ms. George joins us from Most Holy Rosary in Syracuse, NY. She started her career in the journalism field and found her way into the classroom and never looked back. Sara is entering her 5th year of teaching and has a passion for creative writing, storytelling, and helping students reach their full potential. She is so grateful for this opportunity and excited to join the BG family.


Ms. George earned a B.A from Utica College in Communications and Rhetorical Studies and her M.A. in Media and Education from Syracuse University.

Jordan Vaught '15

Office of Academic Affairs; Advisor, Counselor


Ms. Vaught is an Alumna of Bishop Grimes, Class of 2015, and is currently the Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach here at BG. Jordan was a standout basketball player for the Cobras and is a member of the 1,000 point club.


Ms. Vaught earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University, and most recently completed her Masters Degree in Social Work / Counseling this summer from SU.

Terri Gondek

Spanish


Ms. Gondek joins Bishop Grimes with several years of teaching experience enhanced by her time traveling abroad. She has spent time as both a foreign language teacher, where she taught both Spanish and Italian, and most recently as a Special Education teacher here in Syracuse.


Ms. Gondek earned her Bachelors Degree in Spanish from SUNY Oswego and a Masters of Science in Teaching from LeMoyne College.
