Palm Sunday Worship
This Sunday
Our children will help us begin our worship experience this Sunday, as they process into the sanctuary with palms waving during the opening hymn. The service continues as our Chancel Choir, musicians, and readers lead us in a service of Lenten Meditations and Music, recalling Jesus' final days and inviting us to reflect on those moments. The service will conclude with our traditional stripping of the sanctuary, the covering of darkness, and evocative music to help us remember and respond to Jesus' great suffering and sacrifice for us. Join us for this moving worship experience.
Children's Easter Egg Hunt
3:30 pm-5:30 pm
All children are invited to the annual Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday at the Weavers' home (450 Pembroke Rd.) beginning at 3:30 pm. Children should bring their Easter baskets. Activities will conclude by 5:30 pm.

Good Friday Service and
Time for Personal Reflection
FBC Chapel
Friday, April 7, Noon
A Good Friday service of reflection will be held in the chapel on Friday, April 7 from noon to 12:30 pm. Join us for this moving worship experience.
Following this service, the chapel will remain open until 5:00 pm for prayer and meditation. A slide show depicting the events of Jesus' passion, lasting approximately 10 minutes, will play (on a loop) throughout the afternoon. Everyone is invited to come and reflect corporately and individually on Jesus' life and death. The outside entrance to the chapel will be open for the service. During the afternoon, please enter the church through the main door (closest to the Sanctuary) and walk around to the Chapel.

Snacks and Drinks Needed!
The youth have managed to work their way through the snacks and drinks in the snack room, so they're looking for some donations. They love individually packaged bags of chips, sweets, and the occasional granola bar. All types of non-diet drinks and sodas are welcomed, and they also really like to have water available. Thanks in advance for helping keep the youth energetic!

Service Project
for the Soup Kitchen
Sunday, April 16
On Sunday, April 16, the youth will meet in the church parking lot at 8:10 am, board the bus, and head over to Immanuel Lutheran Church to help prepare and serve lunch at their soup kitchen. This is a great chance for the group to do some good work in our community--and to see that there is more than one way to go to church than to be in the sanctuary on Sunday morning. The youth will be back to the church around 1:30 pm.
