News You Can Use

Help your students learn about the Writing Center!

You can invite a Writing Center consultant to your class to share information about what we offer and how you and your students can make use of our services.

Request a presentation now! Or, if you aren’t ready yet, feel free to submit later – just give us at least two weeks’ notice.

We will offer in-person or virtual presentations Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm and Friday (only virtually) 9am to 1pm.

A standard presentation (15-20 minutes) covers information on why the Writing Center is helpful for all writers, what writing resources we have available, what types of consultations we offer, and how to schedule appointments and submit to the OWL.

Upon request, we can include additional information in a presentation, such as guidance on APA citations or tips for revising and editing a paper.
