VCHS sets high academic standards, and in October we measured ourselves against national benchmarks using the PSAT and PreACT assessments. We do this to provide our students with test practice and for our teachers to assess opportunities to improve their teaching and to provide specific academic growth strategies for individual students. Once again, our overall results for 9^th, 10^th, and 11^th Grade students were impressive – well above the national average. By way of example, the 11^th Grade PreACT Composite average score was 24 (4 points above the national average of 20 on a scale ranging to 35) – and that’s far from average! 

The following students had particularly impressive PSAT and/or PreACT Composite results and join our annual 99^th Percentile or Greater Club:

Students who have assigned parking spots in the West Lot (faculty and student parking lot) may not move their vehicles to the East Lot (gymnasium side) until after 3:15pm

Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe and efficient for everyone.

The goal of this event is to create awareness and educate parents and

athletes on the seriousness of concussions, and how we can utilize new, objective technologies to ensure SAFE return-to-play protocols.

This will prevent our youth from developing concussion derived mental

health issues, and help to sustain healthy family lives in our beloved

Eagle County.

Happy Healthy Brain Foundation (H2B) is honored and excited to welcome special guest, Dr. Syed Asad (MD) as the keynote

speaker for this event, alongside H2B Founder and Olympian, Jake

Pates.
